One moment please...

I've worked as a graphic designer since 1997 when I left Performance Bikes magazine, where I'd seen Phil Long and Damien Smith using Photoshop. I already knew how to use a traditional airbrush and just thought the software was the most amazing bit of kit; you didn't even have to rinse it all out to change paint colours!
Illustrator was very different but extremely useful too, specially for custom lettering. A long time before I became seriously interested in sign painting, I'd often letter by hand and tidy up what I'd drawn using Illustrator.
So I've got over 20 years experience in commercial graphic design and still enjoy working with clients who appreciate the elegance and sophistication of vintage lettering.
